stabbing minds
Stabbing minds
Devils and angels are two-faced.
The human mind should not be entertained
Her headaches with fear it’s pulling tightly at her hair
Each knuckle so red from tightly holding her hands
“Go away, leave me alone,” she says to her intensive mind
The stench of sadness lingers over the skies
Ahead is the fear, which is said to be the rarest of all
It’s the emotional reality of unseen signs and what could be wrong or right
A sign to cancel all plans and scream until each of her lungs crack
Her mind shatters like broken glass, each piece rigid and sharp
The deviled mind stabs her, and the angels come running; they try to take away the pain and reframe her intruding thoughts, but sometimes they just remain.
