mistakes define growth
It’s the art of hurting your heart so bad, To learning from your challenges, It’s being empathetic towards the situation, whether you hurt or the other person.
Growth begins when we take all the shattered pieces and stitch them back into a healthy healing pattern. Change is not linear. It does not happen in a day or a week. Sometimes, it can take years or three. You know you’re growing when your answer to situations is “OK.”
It’ss accepting the situation, remembering, and knowing that you are not in it for the drama, competition, or jealousy. Saying “OK” means you’re the bigger person trying to re-open love into your once-broken heart. Growth doesn’t always mean you hate someone or never want to see them again. It just means that you learned your lesson and are grateful to have learned it from them.
I am eternally thankful for all the lessons and mistakes I’ve made throughout my lifetime. We get angry and react to situations with maybe not the best response, but as you grow older, you learn that not every action needs a reaction. Once you know that, you begin to understand what growth is and what it can be for you.
